Welcome to Crystal Keeper: Stone Journal (“Crystal Keeper” or the “App”), a mobile application developed and operated by Sean, an independent developer (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you,” “User”) and the Developer governing your access to and use of the App and all related features and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
The App helps you photograph or select images of crystals and gemstones from your photo library, build a personal collection, and obtain AI-generated identification suggestions to help you record information about your crystals. While we strive to provide useful results, the App relies on third-party artificial intelligence services and we do not guarantee that any identification, classification, or other information provided is accurate, complete, or reliable. You agree that no result from the App may be relied upon as the basis for any commercial, financial, scientific, safety-related, or other consequential decision, and that all such use is at your own risk.
The App is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use of the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us.
A core feature of the App is AI-powered image recognition. When you take a photo or select an image from your photo library and submit it for identification, that image is transmitted through our proxy server and processed by third-party AI service providers, currently Alibaba Cloud’s Model Studio / Bailian platform (including the Tongyi Qianwen large language models) and potentially other AI model providers in the future (collectively, the “AI Providers”).
